This project involves the renovation of the north tenant space at 2302 Community College Avenue for purposes of medical respite. Once completed, this space will house the men's medical respite program, Joseph's Home, which is currently located on an adjacent site in an inadequate, aging structure. The renovations are focused on creating a non-congregate sheltering environment that is 100% handicapped-accessible and trauma-informed. Improvements include reconfiguration, new HVAC, new windows, new doors, new plumbing, new flooring and finishes, new upgraded electrical, including security, door openers, and technology.
