Say Yes! Cleveland provides support on two fronts: providing wrap-around support services for all CMSD students in grades K-12 and gap-funding scholarships for every eligible CMSD graduate to attend a college, university, or eligible training program.

The Cleveland Plan

In 2012, the Cleveland Plan for Transforming Schools set out to ensure every child in Cleveland attends a high-quality school and every neighborhood has a multitude of great schools from which families can choose. Nearly a decade later, the Cleveland Plan has helped drive improvements in student achievement, increased financial support, and catalyzed policy change in support of these goals.

Today, Cleveland is well positioned to continue this upward trend, and the urgency to keep improving education for our city’s children continues.

Ohio School Report Cards

Ohio School Report Cards provide parents, caregivers, educators, community members, and policymakers with important information about school and district performance. Required by state law, the reports offer transparent data on student achievement, academic progress, graduation rates, and other key measures to help celebrate successes, identify areas for improvement, and support informed conversations about educational outcomes.

The report cards are designed to promote accountability and continuous improvement while tracking progress toward positive outcomes for all Ohio students. However, report cards are only one part of a school's story.

Families are encouraged to use the Ohio School Report Cards to explore performance data and then learn more by visiting schools, reviewing district and school websites, and speaking with educators, parents, and students. Together, these resources can provide a more complete picture of a school's strengths, culture, and opportunities.
