Weis, Maxwell (architect)
Biography
Max Weis (aka White) was a native of New Haven, Connecticut and came to Cleveland in 1910. He was a specialist in commercial and residential architecture, zoning, and housing rehabilitation. He helped write Cleveland's zoning code and was the president of the Apartment and Homeowners Association. His son George M. White shared his father's office at 750 Prospect Avenue until his appointment as official architect of the United States Capitol by President Richard Nixon.

Weinberg, Joseph (architect)
Biography
Joseph L. Weinberg was born in Omaha, Nebraska. Orphaned at an early age he was raised in the Jewish Orphanage.. He was president of of the Cleveland Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. He maintained an office at 1836 Euclid Avenue and resided at 2988 Ludlow Road. He was a member of the faculty of the Western Reserve University School of Architecture. He served as chief zone architect in the office of the Fifth Zone Constructing Quartermaster. He was a member of the firm of Morris & Weinberg (1923 - 1930) and later Weinberg, Teare & Herman and Weinberg, Fischer & Herman.

Weile, Albert (architect)
Biography
Albert Weile came to the United States from Strassburg, Germany in 1855. His occupation was listed as master mason. He was of Prussian ancestry. He was a partner with Carl Griese from 1866 until 1876. He left Cleveland in 1890, moving to Kansas City, where he died in 1892.

Weeks, Harry (architect)
Biography
Harry Ellis Weeks was born in Springfield, Massachusetts and graduated from MIT in 1893. At the suggestion of John M. Carrere, a member of the Group Plan Commission, Weeks moved to Cleveland in 1905 where he worked in the office of J. Milton Dyer. He is buried in Lake View Cemetery.

Watterson, William (architect)
Biography
William Ruggles Watterson was born in Cleveland and was a graduate of the Cleveland Public Schools. He became an apprentice in an architectural office and then studied at Columbia University. In 1894 he returned to Cleveland as a local representative of the George B. Post firm, acting as supervising architect. From 1895 to 1903 he practiced alone. In 1903 he entered into partnership with Charles Schneider, who also had been employed by George Post, forming the firm of Watterson and Schneider.

Watson Engineering Company (firm)
Biography
The Watson Engineering Company was founded by Civil Engineer Wilbur J. Watson. Watson (1871-1939) was born in Berea and recieved a B.S. from Case School of Engineering. He would work for the Osborn Company. He founded the Watson Company in 1907. The company specialized in bridge design, setting standards for bridge design throughout the country. With his daughters Sara and Emily he would write Bridge Architecture: A Decade of Bridges 1926-1936 and Bridges in History and Legend.

G.E. Mitchell had been working in the office of Franz Warner since 1921. W. R. McCornack joined the firm in 1925. Mitchell was made a partner in March 1928. McCornack left in October 1928.
