CLEVELAND – Today, Mayor Frank G. Jackson congratulated the Cleveland Cavaliers organization for their success in the 2014-15 NBA season. “I want to congratulate the Cavalier’s players, coaching staff, and entire organization for every hard won victory this year and making it to the NBA Finals, “said Mayor Jackson. “I would also like to thank all the residents, visitors, fans, and businesses who contributed to the success and exposure the city has experienced as a result.”

“As the global spotlight shined on our city during the NBA Finals and throughout the entire Cavs season, it was clear to the millions who watched and visited that Cleveland is a true winner,” said Len Komoroski, CEO of the Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena. "What was taking place inside and outside The Q was historical and the impact it had on downtown Cleveland and our region was monumental. On behalf of Dan Gilbert and the entire Cavaliers organization, we thank our business community, civic leaders and the best fans anywhere for being ALL IN all the time."

“On behalf of more than the 100,000 downtown visitors, residents, businesses and the best fans in the world, we want to thank the Cavs for adding to the vibrant energy in Downtown Cleveland during this past season,” said Joe Marinucci, President & CEO of the Downtown Cleveland Alliance. “We're still #AllinCle"

Throughout the past three months, the City of Cleveland has been collaborating with downtown area businesses and partners to manage the increase of traffic and visitors during events downtown. The City of Cleveland considers the successful management of the visitor’s influx and important lessons learned when planning for future events. And we are certain that the City of Cleveland and our tremendous fan-base will continue to be All-In next season as well.
