EarthFest 2015

Earthfest 2015, the annual Earth Day celebration in Cleveland, celebrated its 26th year as the longest running environmental festival in the nation. Mayor Frank G. Jackson and Chief of Sustainability Jenita McGowan welcomed volunteers and attendees to EarthFest, held at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds. Families enjoyed environmental activities, education, entertainment and local food trucks at the all-day event.

Every year, EarthFest collaborates with Sustainable Cleveland 2019 to focus on a celebration topic, with this year being the Year of Clean Water. Clean water and our location on Lake Erie is an important part of building our sustainable future. Mayor Jackson’s Sustainable Cleveland 2019 initiative is helping transform Cleveland’s economy and provide long-term economic, social and environmental well-being for the City as it moves toward the future.
