Cleveland Metropolitan School District Summer Learning Experience
Track 2 features free summer learning programs from the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, designed to support academic growth and keep students engaged throughout the summer.
Families can use the CMSD registration link below to sign up for available summer learning opportunities, including K-3 Summer Learning, Pre-Algebra for rising grades 7-8, and Credit Recovery for grades 9-12.

Program Overview
Summer Learning: Kindergarten through 3rd Grade
Program Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Program Dates: June 9 to July 10, 2026
Students will participate in morning instruction, meals, recess, and optional afternoon enrichment programming led by community partners.

Pre-Algebra (Rising Grades 7–8)
Audience: Students enrolled in Algebra 1 in the fall
Locations: Cleveland School of the Arts | Max S. Hayes High School | Natividad Pagan International Newcomers Academy
Build confidence and strengthen essential math skills with Pre-Algebra, a focused course designed to prepare students for success in Algebra 1.
Students will review key concepts, sharpen problem-solving strategies, and develop the academic habits needed for a strong start in the fall. Whether refreshing skills, filling learning gaps, or getting ahead, this course helps set a strong foundation for Algebra 1 success.
