Track #1 - Summer Employment
Applications for the 2025 Summer Youth Employment Program are now closed. We’re excited to share that we’ve seen an increase in youth applications this year—a powerful sign that Cleveland’s youth are ready to work, grow, and make an impact this summer.
Participants will be notified of their selection status by the end of May. Most job placements begin the week of June 16th.

Part-time Lifeguard Positions Available
Apply now to join the City of Cleveland's part-time team and help keep our pools safe and fun for everyone!
Requirements:
- Be at least 15 years old
- Be able to swim 300 yards non-stop, using front crawl and breast stroke
- Swim to the deepest end of the pool and retrieve a 10 pound object and return to starting point on his or her back
- Tread water for two (2) minutes using legs only
- Pass a written test, 80% or better
Salary: $15.95 Hourly
