Memorial Bridges Loop

Project Overview

Map illustrating the full Memorial Bridges Loop and nearby connections to key destinations like West Side Market and Progressive Field.

The Cleveland Memorial Bridges Loop will turn extra road space into a separated path for people walking and biking on Huron Road and Ontario Avenue. The project will connect the protected bike lane and sidewalk on the Detroit-Superior (Veterans Memorial) Bridge to the existing shared-use path near and on the Lorain-Carnegie (Guardians) Bridge.

The project will close an important gap in Cleveland’s walking and biking network. It is another key step toward creating safe and comfortable connections that help people travel between Downtown and the city’s neighborhoods by foot or by bike.
