Biography

Henry A. Walsh was born in Brantford, Ontario and moved with his family to Detroit. He graduated from the University of Detroit and studied architecture in Florence, Italy. He was listed as an architect in Cleveland City Directories from 1907 to 1935, and was mainly known for designing Roman Catholic religious buildings. His office was at 1514 Prospect Avenue. He was single and lived at 2306 South Overlook with his sister Mame Kuhlman, widow of the president of the G.C. Kuhlman Car Company.
