Public Notice – PY2025-2026 Annual Action Plan

In accordance with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements, the City of Cleveland is preparing the 2025-2026 Program Year Action Plan to address priority needs and specific objectives identified in the 2021-2026 Consolidated Plan. The annual Action Plan serves as an application for Federal funds.

The Department of Community Development will introduce an Ordinance to Cleveland City Council to apply for and accept $27,855,258.71 from the Department of HUD for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program ($19,463,970), Home Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program ($4,257,956.71), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Program ($1,764,744) and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Program ($2,368,588).

Two public hearings will be held to outline the proposed 2025-2026 Action Plan and provide an opportunity for all persons to ask questions or comment on proposed activities:

The PY2025-2026 Action Plan will be available for review on June 5, 2025.   The Plan can be viewed in the Cleveland Public Administration Library, the Department of Community Development, Room 320, and on this CD Department News page.

The public comment period for the Action Plan is June 5 through July 5, 2025. Please submit your comments to Joy Anderson at janderson2@clevelandohio.gov.
