In accordance with requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) has two projects now available for public comment. The following Programs have been reviewed and are requesting public comment and the Request for Release of Funds:
2025 Radon Mitigation (“2025-CMHA-Radon-East-West-Cluster-41-Units”) and Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity Critical Community Improvements Partnership Home Repair Program (“2025-2029-CMHA-Habitat-Home-Repair-Program”)
Additionally, there has been a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) for the 2025 Radon Mitigation project. For additional information on this FONSI, please refer to the attached Legal Notice.
These programs are conducted by CMHA with oversight from the City of Cleveland’s Department of Community Development, who has conducted and will continue to conduct the associated Environmental Reviews for these programs as a HUD Responsible Entity.
The listed programs will service multifamily homes in the City of Cleveland community in accordance with HUD goals and objectives. Each program is built to focus on a specific need or group for residential rehabilitation projects across the City of Cleveland.
