Wednesday, May 14, 2025 — Cleveland — The City of Cleveland is partnering with the Greater Cleveland Peace Officers Memorial Society® to host a parade and memorial celebration as a part of the 40th Annual Police Memorial Commemoration, honoring our fallen and uniting our community. The parade will step-off from East 12th Street, between Lakeside Avenue and Superior Avenue, at 10:30 a.m. Parade participants include officers from local, county, state, and federal agencies throughout the U.S. and Canada; and surviving family members of fallen officers. Immediately following the parade, a memorial service will be held at the Greater Cleveland Peace Officers Memorial in Huntington Park at West 3rd Street and Lakeside Avenue.

Parking Restrictions
A parking ban will be implemented from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2025, on the following streets:
- East 12th Street from Lakeside Avenue to Superior Avenue (east and west)
- Ontario Street from Superior Avenue to Lakeside Avenue (east and west)
- Lakeside Avenue from East 13th Street to West 3rd Street (north and south)
- West 3rd Street between Lakeside Avenue and Summit Avenue (east and west)
All vehicles are prohibited from parking in the above areas during these hours. All violators will be ticketed and towed. Information is subject to change based on real-time information as vehicular and pedestrian traffic evolves. All parking restrictions depend on traffic volume and can be adjusted as needed by the Cleveland Division of Police Bureau of Traffic.
