Cleveland Division of Parks and Recreation Announces 2025 Pool Schedule and Dynamic Summer Programming

June 6, 2025 — Cleveland — The City of Cleveland proudly announces its 2025 Summer Programming and Pool Schedule, beginning Saturday, June 7, 2025.

Admission to all City pools and access to the full range of the City’s Summer Programming is completely free. These programs are available to residents of all ages—from toddlers to seniors—and include a diverse array of activities in the areas of Art, Education, Sports, Health & Wellness, Leadership, and Career Readiness.

Residents can create an account and register through the City’s online catalog.

Outdoor Pools Open this Season
Duggan Park, Gassaway Pool, Greenwood Park, Halloran Park, Impett Park, James Bell Pool, Lonnie Burten, Kerruish Park, Lincoln Park, Loew Park, Mark Tromba Park, Meyer Pool, Sunrise Pool (Mercedes Cotner Park), Warsaw Park, Glendale, Lake, and Woodland (outdoor only).

  • Open Wednesday through Sunday: 12:00 PM – 7:30 PM
  • Closed from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM daily for staff break
  • Closed Mondays and Tuesdays

Indoor Pools Open this Season
Collinwood, Cudell, Earle B. Turner, Estabrook, Fairfax, Frederick Douglass, Hamilton, Kovacic, Michael Zone, Stella Walsh, Gunning, and Thurgood Marshall

  • Open Mondays and Tuesdays: 12:00 PM – 7:45 PM
  • Closed from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM for staff break
  • 45-minute swim sessions, same check-in process as outdoor pools

Additional Indoor Pool Days (by location):

  • Wednesdays: Collinwood, Thurgood Marshall, Michael Zone, Kovacic, Stella Walsh.
  • Thursdays: Cudell, Fairfax, Hamilton.
  • Fridays: Estabrook, Earle B. Turner, Frederick Douglass, Gunning.

Pools will operate under the programmed schedule and are subject to daily changes and staffing. The following Neighborhood Resource and Recreation Centers pools are closed for maintenance: Central, Clark, Cory, Glenville, Neff, Forest Hills Park, Luke Easter Park, Sterling, and Woodland (indoor only). 

Employment opportunities with the Division of Recreation are available. Certified lifeguards interested in working in Cleveland this summer are encouraged to call (216) 664-2570. Individuals with current American Red Cross certification may qualify for a fast-tracked hiring process.

Safety Note: Armed security will be present during all open hours at each facility. Pools will operate in 45-minute sessions to maximize access. At the conclusion of each session, patrons must exit and re-enter via the lineup process.
