NOACA, City of Cleveland to host Virtual Public Meeting for Regional Comprehensive Climate Action Plan
The Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA) and the City of Cleveland's Office of Sustainability and Climate Justice will host a virtual public meeting on August 21, 2025, at 12 noon, as part of an educational awareness session for the regional Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (CCAP). The public is invited to submit their input on this plan through August 31.
The Comprehensive Climate Action Plan (CCAP) for the Cleveland-Elyria Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) includes:
- A discussion of how the climate is already changing and the expected changes through 2050
- A review of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by sector and the measures the MSA can take to lower those emissions by 2050
- A plan to help communities across the MSA implement these measures
- Additional technical appendices
