Shaker Boulevard Rehabilitation Project (Woodhill Road to Shaker Heights Border) - Community Open House 2.0
The purpose of this meeting is to review previous public feedback, work to get the details right on the concept design for the Shaker Boulevard corridor, and to solicit additional feedback.

Timeline:
- Design completion: Winter 2026
- Construction begins: Spring/Summer 2027
- Construction complete: Summer 2028
Project Need: We're making changes to Stokes Boulevard to address traffic safety concerns, improve the condition of the roadway, and strengthen connections in our growing citywide bike network.
Proposed Changes:
- Complete asphalt resurfacing
- Upgrade non-compliant curb ramps to meet accessibility standards
- Replace curbs, sidewalks, and driveway aprons as needed
- Slow traffic speeds using traffic calming tools
- Explore adding pedestrian safety enhancements
- Investigate adding a new bikeway connection
