City of Cleveland Continues Discarded Live Christmas Tree Collection

Friday, January 8, 2016

CLEVELAND – The City of Cleveland Department of Public Works will continue to pick-up live Christmas trees through Friday, January 29, 2016. Residents should place discarded trees on the curb during normal waste collection days. Trees should be free of all decorations and lights. A separate waste collection truck will pick up the discarded trees and process them for recycling.

In the spring, Cleveland residents, showing proof of residency, may receive one cubic yard of mulch from the recycled Christmas trees at no cost, while supplies last. For further information regarding waste collection, please call the City of Cleveland’s Division of Waste Collection at (216) 664-3711.
