The mission of the City of Cleveland Department of Human Resources is to attract and retain qualified, productive and dedicated employees who will provide efficient and effective services to our residents. FAQs

The City has two seasonal programs. In the Spring, applications are made available for Park Maintenance. In the Fall, the City hires drivers (must have valid CDL) and laborers. If interested in either program, call 216.664.2493 for details.

Yes, the Department of Recreation accepts applications from youth 15 or older in early March for recreation and playground summer employment. Applications can picked up in City Hall Room 8, weekdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

All applications should be submitted through Neogov; we no longer use paper applications.
