St. Patrick’s Day

Mayor Frank G. Jackson joined City Council President Kevin Kelley; Cleveland City Council Members; James J. Kilbane, Executive Director, Saint Patrick’s Day Committee, Inc.; and other public officials at the 148th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade.

The 148th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade kicked off after the National Anthems of both the United States and Ireland were sung. Bands, floats, drill teams, marching units, cars, trucks and other novelties all marched in honor of St. Patrick and Ireland’s contributions to American culture. Thousands of spectators lined the sidewalks and streets as Cleveland's Irish, born and adopted, showed their pride, talent and commitment to their traditions. This event embraces the diversity and the rich heritage represented in Cleveland’s Irish community.
