Lead Safe Cleveland
Mayor Frank G. Jackson, City of Cleveland officials and a group of community partners, business leaders and philanthropic representatives announced the creation of the Lead Safe Cleveland Coalition at a press conference in the City Hall rotunda. The press conference highlighted the coalition’s plans to reduce childhood lead exposure rates by addressing leaded paint in homes with the goal of becoming a “lead safe” city by 2028.
