UPDATE: Cleveland Police Officer Charged with 11 Counts of Solicitation of Prostitution

CLEVELAND – Director of Public Safety, Michael McGrath and Cleveland Police Chief Calvin D. Williams announce that Sergeant Michael Rybarczyk has been charged with 11 counts of solicitation of prostitution, all misdemeanor offenses. The Cleveland Division of Police Internal Affairs Unit conducted the investigation. Charges were filed today in Cleveland Municipal Court.  

Rybarczyk, 58, is a 29 year veteran of the Division of Police and was most recently assigned to the First District.  He has since been placed on restricted duty pending the adjudication of the criminal proceedings.
