Fulbright Scholars
Fulbright professionals conduct advance research and participate in exchanging their talents, knowledge and skills as they study abroad with other participating countries. As part of their visit, four Distinguished Fulbright Scholars from Tunisia located in Africa, who are participating in Case Western Reserve University’s program were accompanied by their program mentor for a meet and greet with Mayor Frank G. Jackson at City Hall in the Mayor’s Office for a special discussion on city government and the unique characteristics of Cleveland and the state of Ohio.
The Fulbright Program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. It is the largest U.S. international exchange program offering opportunities for students, scholars, and professionals to undertake international graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and teaching in elementary and secondary schools worldwide.
