Update: Phase 2 of the West Side Market Parking Lot Improvement Project
CLEVELAND, OH – Phase 2 of the West Side Market parking lot improvement project will begin today with the reconfiguration of the Lorain Avenue entrance to the main parking lot. The majority of parking spaces in the main lot will remain available and accessible through Lorain Avenue and Bridge Avenue. Advance notice signs will be posted to advise which portions of the lot will be off limits. This parking advisory will remain in place until September 1, 2016.
Phase 1 of the project is complete and the Hicks parking lot has been reopened to the public with entry provided off of Bridge Avenue. The West Side Market parking lot improvement project will reconfigure and expand parking at the West Side Market to create 128 additional parking spaces. Installation of over 40,000 square feet of pervious pavers and new bio-filtration area will aid in reducing stormwater from flowing into the sewer system.
The entire project is scheduled for completion by December 1, 2016.
