Invitations to Bid Posted on City Website

CLEVELAND – Today, the City of Cleveland has posted invitations to bid on the City’s website for the supplies and equipment listed below:

• Breast Plates
• Bridles Reins
• Bridle
• Flexible Handcuffs
• Horse Supplies (Hay and Shavings)
• Night Vision Mount
• Parking Meter Bags
• Rain Poncho
• Safety Equipment

All of these items are being purchased as part of the city’s continuing efforts to prepare for the Republican National Convention. The closing dates for receipt of bids for these items will be either April 11, 2016 or April 14, 2016 as specified in the Invitation to Bid. The bid invitations can be found on the City’s website at the following link:

At this time, the City will only answer specific questions about the purchases from prospective bidders as part of the competitive bidding process. Future advisories will be issued as additional purchases are posted on the city’s website.
