Traffic Advisory: West 53rd Street Bridge Project

Notice of Bridge Closure on West 53rd Street between Clark Avenue and Lorain Avenue

CLEVELAND – Beginning Monday, December 14, at 7:00 AM, maintenance work will begin on the West 53rd Street Bridge between Clark Avenue and Lorain Avenue. The bridge will be closed for a minimum of 15 days. Vehicular traffic will be prohibited from crossing the bridgeon West 53rd street.

Northbound traffic will be detoured on Clark Avenue towards West 41st Street and then onto Lorain Avenue. Southbound traffic will be detoured on Lorain Avenue towards W. 44th Street and then onto Clark Avenue. Advance notice signs will be posted to advise traffic of construction. This maintenance work is scheduled for completion by January 2016.
