Youth Advisory Council
Twenty-two high school students participating on the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council met with Mayor Frank G. Jackson, Chief of Education Monyka Price and Public Works Director Michael Cox in the Mayor’s Red Room of Cleveland City Hall for brief remarks and to be sworn in as members. The students attending the advisory council meeting were selected as representatives from the City of Cleveland Recreation Center’s Youth Development Program.
The Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council is designed to provide high school students with the necessary tools for them to achieve their goals academically and become good leaders and role models while learning job skills so they can become the leaders of tomorrow.
