Pools Now Open
Cleveland residents and local youth splashed into the summer on June 8 in celebration of the official opening of City of Cleveland’s outdoor pools. Mayor Frank G. Jackson made the announcement and visited with neighborhood youth at the event at Lincoln Park in Tremont.
Director of Public Works Michael Cox, Deputy Chief of Police Wayne Drummond, Commander of Cleveland 2nd Police District Thomas Stacho, Fire Chief Angelo Calvillo, EMS Deputy Commissioner David Miller, Chief of Prevention, Intervention and Opportunity for Youth and Young Adults Tracy Martin-Thompson, Director of Community Relations Grady Stevenson and Ward 3 Councilman Kerry McCormack were also in attendance.
