Fields For The Future

City of Cleveland officials and Cleveland Indians representatives, in partnership with SportsTime Ohio, Benedictine High School and John Adams High School joined forces at Luke Easter Park to help rebuild some of the baseball field’s features, which included painting and restoring player and spectator benches and updating other ballpark features.

This effort is part of the Cleveland Indians initiative, “Fields For The Future” program is aimed at rebuilding local Cleveland fields and restoring youth baseball. In addition, Yan and Jenna Gomes took part in the repairs and even took the time to speak to the high school students. The event was capped off by a ceremonial unveiling of the inaugural “Fields For The Future” sign hanging behind home plate.
