Youth Advisory Council

Thirteen high school students participating on the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council met with Mayor Frank G. Jackson and Public Works Director Michael Cox in the Mayor’s Red Room of Cleveland City Hall for brief remarks and to be sworn in as members. The students attending the advisory council meeting were selected as representatives from the City of Cleveland Recreation Centers.

The Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council is designed to provide high school students with the necessary tools for them to achieve their goals academically and become good leaders and role models while learning job skills so they can become the leaders of tomorrow.
