City of Cleveland Celebrates Women’s History Month

Themed, Our History is Our Strength: Celebrating Women Who Have Paved the Way for Our Future, the City of Cleveland celebrated Women’s History Month with an opening ceremony luncheon at Cleveland City Hall Rotunda.

Mayor Frank G. Jackson and Councilwoman Phyllis Cleveland (Ward 5) were joined by this year’s emcee News Channel 5 Anchor Danita Harris for brief remarks. This inspirational gathering featured musical performances and special uplifting words of empowerment and encouragement as speakers presented on the March 16, 2015 celebration topic, Praying it Forward.
