Notice of Correction
On May 20, 2022, the City of Cleveland published a joint Notice of Finding of No Significant Impact and of Intent to Request Release of Funds in this newspaper for the following activity:
- Expansion and Rehab of Norma Herr Community Women’s Shelter
The purpose of the notice was to inform the public of the City’s intent to request release of HUD program funds to support the project.
The purpose of this notice is to correct a certain problem contained in the original notice.
The City incorrectly identified the addresses and parcels of the building the project will acquire and combine with the existing Norma Herr Women’s Shelter at 2219 Payne Ave., Cleveland, OH 44114. The correct address and parcels of the building that will be acquired and combined with the Norma Herr Women’s Shelter are as follows:
PARCELS — 102-25-013 and 102-25-045
ADDRESSES — 1600 E 23rd St. and 1608 E 23rd St., Cleveland, OH 44114
Additionally, the City would like to update the funding description for the project. The total project cost is approximately $21,643,500, with the City of Cleveland providing approximately $4,585,000 in Home Investment Partnership Program - American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) funds, $4,500,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CARES Act) funds, and $7,576,343 in Emergency Solution Grant (CARES Act) funds. The City of Cleveland shall submit a request to the Department of Housing and Urban Development on or about June 6, 2022 for the release of aforementioned funds.
