Autism Month
The Cleveland Airport System (CAS) and airport partners joined together to recognize April as World Autism Awareness month. Autism affects 1 in 68 children, and 1 in 42 boys. To increase understanding and bring awareness to those individuals living with Autism, CAS joined in the “Light it Up Blue” movement by lighting up various locations within and surrounding the Airport campus in blue.
Additionally, the staff, along with other employees of the airport community, dressed in blue in support of this worthwhile cause. Many gathered for an official photograph in the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Gallery located on the Lower Terminal level on Monday, April 2nd.
