Mayor Frank G. Jackson’s annual food basket giveaway was held around the City of Cleveland. The food baskets were distributed to families in need at the Michael Zone Recreation Center, Greater Cleveland Food Bank and Zelma George Recreation Center. The Mayor’s Office raises funds for the baskets to help make the holidays merrier for those struggling with hunger. The event is staffed by volunteers from the Mayor’s Office and others.
