No. The only forms of payment the Cleveland Fire Prevention Bureau takes is check or money order; payable to the City Of Cleveland.

The Bureau does not conduct fire extinguisher training. Those who service/supply your extinguishers should be able to provide you with training and answers to questions about their equipment.

After obtaining a permit from the Cleveland Division of Water, you can use a fire hydrant to fill a pool. Permit cost is based on the size of the pool. Please contact your local rental center for a hose and fittings. The Division of Fire does not supply equipment to assist in accessing hydrants and does not fill swimming pools.

You will need a Temporary Hazardous Substance Permit for anything 5 consecutive days or less. Permit cost is $20.00 payable to the City of Cleveland.
If you are using diesel, you may also need a permit for a generator. The size of the tank to determine the permit cost.
You should obtain this permit 10 days prior to the event.

Some applications can be faxed (as long as the application is copied onto a two-sided sheet). We do NOT accept two separate sheets. Due to the color of other applications they cannot be faxed such as: Tank removal, Tank Installation and any of the duplicate forms.
