Cudell Fine Arts Center

This center offers classes for children and adults in pottery, painting, airbrushing, printmaking and other fine arts.  Housed within the Cudell Fine Arts Center is Cleveland's Bureau of Cultural Arts.

The Division of Recreation's Bureau of Cultural Arts provides active recreational opportunities and cultural experiences in art and performance art for all ages and interest groups. Roving art instructors develop and teach a variety of arts including Arts & Crafts, Airbrush, Dance and Ceramics.

 Showagon

Youth who dance, sing, act and perform poetry form a summer  performing art troupe that appears on a mobile stage unit from early June through August.

Youth between the ages of 5 and 17 audition annually in May.  Hopeful participants must bring their own music to the audition.  The Division of Recreation provides voice instructors and choreographers to enhance talent.


Youth Talent Showcase

The Talent Showcase features talented, trained youth ages 9 to 17 with previous performance experience in three categories: dancing, singing and variety. There is no open audition for this program, as acts are invited to perform based on the diversity they bring to the program and on prior performance experience. The show is emceed by two teenagers and presented annually in May in the historic Little Theater at the Cleveland Public Auditorium and Conference Center.


Holiday Play

The Holiday Play is a fun-filled opportunity for newcomers as well as experienced thespians. Singing, acting and dancing are presented on the stage of the historic Little Theater at the Public Auditorium and Conference Center. Interested youth ages 5 to 18 audition in early October. The annual show takes place during the latter part of December.
