The Cleveland Division of Police remains committed to those in crisis by providing mental health and crisis intervention information. The Division will continually strive to grow and improve as we provide assitance to those experiencing crisis.
Do you or someone you know need help with a crisis?
If you need the police, call 911 and ask for a CIT officer (Crisis Intervention Team Officer). The CIT officer is committed to your needs and receives training on handling those individuals experiencing crisis.

- Alcohol, Drug Addiction & Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board of Cuyahoga County is responsible for the planning, funding and monitoring of public mental health and addiction treatment and recovery services delivered to the residents of Cuyahoga County.

- United Way's 2-1-1 HelpLink provides free, professional and confidential information and service navigation to help people understand their options, resolve problems and improve their lives. There is also a chat center available for online assistance.
- The Mobile Crisis Unit operated by FrontLine Service
- The Crisis Stabilization Unit operated by FrontLine Service, which has 15 beds total with two reserved for Cleveland Division of Police as diversion beds.
