Office of Capital Management

The Office of Capital Management ensures the City’s ability to maintain its Capital Plan and supports the provision of cost-effective capital development by monitoring costs for projects that renovate neighborhoods and promote economic development and job creation; by allocating General Obligation Bonds or Restricted Income Tax to fund capital projects that are part of the five-year capital plan.

The Office of Capital Management monitors various grants from outside agency’s for improvents to the City’s roads and bridges, recreation centers, play grounds and other City assets. Capital Management also provides monthly status reports of the projects to the Mayor’s Office and City divisions; and, conducts citywide budget analyst training sessions so that City managers are informed on the status of their capital projects in a timely and efficient manner.
