City Planning Projects

East 105th Street Rehabilitation Project

This project is the second phase of roadway improvements that will occur along the East 105th Corridor. The first phase is currently under construction from East Boulevard to Greenlawn Avenue. The East 105th Phase 2 project will start at Greenlawn Avenue and continue north to the City of Cleveland north city limit line, located at the I-90 overpass.

Dockless Scooter and Bike Share

'Shared mobility' refers to individual transportation devices like scooters and bikes that are available to rent from vendors for short rides around the city. The scooters and bikes are parked on the sidewalk, lock to themselves rather than a bike rack or a dock, and are activated through a smartphone app and user account.

The LandCode

An icon of the industrial age, Cleveland is pivoting to its new future: a green city on a blue lake. This direction has been set by the Mayor Frank G. Jackson Administration with the directive to leave no neighborhood behind. New buildings and new residents are rejuvenating long dormant portions of the city at an ever quickening pace. The rebuilding of these neighborhoods with modern housing, retail, office and industrial spaces have laid bare the need for new development policies and tools that support 21st century development trends. One of the development tools will be the strategic implementation of a new zoning code that fosters sustainable development patterns and addresses the challenges Cleveland faces in the 21st century.

Vision for the Valley

A NOACA TLCI funded initiative led by the City of Cleveland, Cleveland Metroparks, Port of Cleveland and Flats Forward to re-imagine the Cuyahoga River Valley

The City of Cleveland and MidTown Cleveland, with support from the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA), are partnering on a plan to re-envision the Carnegie Avenue Corridor.

Census 2020

The information obtained as a result of the 2020 Census will provide important demographic data needed for decision making at all levels.
