Traffic Advisory: East 131st Street Rehabilitation Project

CLEVELAND – On Monday December 2, 2019, the City will begin construction of the East 131st Street Rehabilitation Project from Miles Avenue to Union Avenue (1.27 miles). This phase will include a new 12” water main and water connections, repair and resurfacing of existing roadway pavement, replacement of damaged curbs, drive aprons, and sidewalks where needed, ADA-compliant curb ramps, upgrades to three traffic signals, new drainage structures, new pavement markings and parking lanes.

Maintenance of traffic will be as follows:

  • One-way traffic will be maintained in each direction at all times.

The work will take place during the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2020.
