Pipeline Infrastructure Improvements Update
CLEVELAND – On Tuesday, October 8, 2019 a four-day road closure for south bound traffic on East 79th Street from Woodland Avenue to Grand Avenue will be in place.
The road closure is required in order to make road repairs to the concrete pavement under the Pennsylvania Lines railroad bridge just south of Woodland Avenue.
A detour plan with signage will be in place for:
- Northbound traffic on East 79th Street between Grand Avenue and Woodland Avenue will be unaffected.
- Southbound traffic along East 79th Street will be routed west onto Woodland Avenue to East 75th Street, then south on East 75th Street to Grand Avenue. At Grand Avenue traffic will head east to East 79th Street.
- Eastbound traffic along Woodland Avenue will be routed to East 75th Street, then south on East 74th Street to Grand Avenue. At Grand Avenue traffic will head east to East 79th Street.
- Westbound traffic along Woodland Avenue will be routed west to East 75th Street, then south on East 75th Street to Grand Avenue. At Grand Avenue traffic will head east to East 79th Street.
It is anticipated that the south bound closure on East 79th Street will reopen to traffic on Saturday, October 12, 2019.
