Fulton Road Phase II Rehabilitation Project

CLEVELAND – On Monday October 7, 2019, the City will begin construction of the Fulton Road Phase II Rehabilitation Project from Lorain Avenue to Detroit Avenue (0.8 miles). This phase will include a new water main and connections repair and resurfacing of existing roadway pavement, replacement of damaged curbs, drive aprons, and sidewalks where needed, ADA-compliant curb ramps, upgrades to traffic signals, new pavement markings and bicycle facilities. The intersection at Franklin Boulevard will be reconstructed as a roundabout.

Maintenance of traffic will be as follows:

  • One-way southbound traffic will be maintained.
  • Northbound traffic will travel west on Lorain Avenue, then north on west 45th Street and then east on Detroit Avenue.

The work will take place Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The project is scheduled for completion in October 2020.
