News Advisory: Opening and Re-dedication of Public Square

CLEVELAND – The City of Cleveland, Cuyahoga County and the Group Plan Commission (GPC) will officially unveil and re-dedicate the newly transformed Public Square during a public ceremony Thursday, June 30, at 11:00 am.

After initial remarks, media and the community are invited to rediscover this now unified and welcoming public space, which has been made possible through a unique public-private partnership.

Those in attendance will have full access to The Square and are encouraged to check out the pedestrian pathways, green spaces, water feature and café, with special activities planned throughout the day to welcome Clevelanders and visitors to the new Square.
