CLEVELAND – On Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2020, the City of Cleveland will begin the first phase of construction of the East 105th Street Rehabilitation Project from Wade Park Avenue to Greenlawn Avenue (1.05 miles). This phase will include a new 12” water main and water connections, repair and resurfacing of existing roadway pavement, replacement of damaged curbs, drive aprons, and sidewalks where needed, ADA-compliant curb ramps, upgrades to four traffic signals, new drainage structures, new pavement markings and parking lanes.

Maintenance of traffic will be as follows:

  • One-way traffic will be maintained southbound on East 105th Street from Greenlawn Avenue to Wade Park Avenue at all times.
  • A detour route for northbound traffic will proceed west on Wade Park Avenue, then north on East Boulevard, and then east on St. Clair Avenue to East 105th Street.

The work will take place during the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The project is scheduled for completion in January 2021. Should there be any questions, please contact the City of Cleveland’s Construction Inspector, Darrell Dunnican at 216-857-7147.

Editor’s Note: Road construction invariably presents hazards to the public. All travelers are urged to use caution in construction zones. Public safety and the safety of workers is a top priority.
